The 49th Annual Mayo Clinic Seminar for Nurse Anesthetists offers the latest evidence-based updates in today’s standard of anesthesia care. Expert Mayo Clinic faculty provide an overview of the most recent advances in anesthesiology management, pharmacology and wellness within the anesthesia community. Attendees leave with a better understanding of new research and current guidelines that are immediately applicable to clinical practice.
Target Audience
This course is designed to provide an overview of the most recent advances in anesthesiology management, pharmacology and wellness among healthcare professionals of the perioperative team, including: CRNAs, physician anesthesiologists, RNs, PAs, and NPs.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify three anesthetic implications when caring for patients with neurologic and cardiac implantable devices.
- Discuss two anesthetic implications when caring for patients taking GLP-1 Receptor Agonists.
- Identify three areas to improve patient safety, along with three specific anesthetic implications.
