  • Review the principles of FDG PET imaging in oncology with an emphasis on physiologic variations in FDG biodistribution.
  • Examine the current role of FDG PET in the workup of head and neck malignancies and evaluate any potential clinical trials for early-stage disease.
  • Recognize value of FDG PET imaging in assessing treatment response
