LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe outcomes among patients undergoing simultaneous risk-reducing gynecologic procedures
- Identify risk factors predicting poor postoperative outcomes in patients undergoing combined breast and gynecologic procedures
- Recognize patients who would benefit from a combined breast and gynecologic approach to risk reduction surgery
- Determine if the pathological status of the biopsy-positive axillary node at diagnosis can reflect overall pathological nodal status post neoadjuvant chemotherapy in inflammatory breast cancer
- Identify select subgroups of inflammatory breast cancer patients who may be eligible for de-escalation of axillary nodal dissection
