The focus of the film is a conversation with Mayo Clinic colleagues that have each had varying experiences personally and professionally around racism. Their authentic testimonials reflect the voices of allied health staff, learners, physicians, and leaders. The film is ultimately hopeful that The Greater Good will prevail.

Mayo Clinic Application of Quality Improvement: Tools and Methods – Silver Level Knowledge Assessment (formerly Applied Quality Essentials) is a learning and self-assessment activity which aims to evaluate the participant’s knowledge in quality improvement concepts and methods. This Silver Level Knowledge Assessment crosses all disciplines and clinical settings. The following key themes align with ABMS patient safety standards document and are incorporated in the questions and reference material for this module: patient safety, error identification, effect of systems, human factors, communication, culture of safety, methods and tools for evaluating quality and safety events. There are no prerequisites for this course. The module is offered as an online 30-question Pre-test (Test A) and 30-question Post-test (Test B). Test A and Test B are different versions each containing 30 distinct questions testing to the same concepts. The module can be taken as an open book test with an extensive, indexed Study Guide included. Education credit will be awarded if the participant achieves a score ≥80% correct answers on Pre-test (Test A-one chance) or Post-test (Test B-two chances). For Test A, the learner’s choices along with the correct answers for each question will be provided with an overall performance score and relevant references to educational content at the conclusion of the test. For Test B, the learner can choose to display whether the answer was correct or incorrect, with an overall performance score at the conclusion of the test.

Some of the most common problems encountered in clinical practice are represented. Course focus is clinical pearls and practice updates. Presentations are made by experts from various disciplines in internal medicine and faculty members are available during breaks to answer questions and to discuss cases with course participants.
