DESCRIPTION
This comprehensive course offers healthcare professionals a systems-based approach to analyzing medical errors, with a focus on reducing preventable harm to patients. Participants will learn to identify robust error reduction strategies and assess their effectiveness in improving patient outcomes. The course also emphasizes the development of a blame-free culture within healthcare settings, encouraging teamwork and communication among all staff members to enhance patient safety. Through interactive case studies, group discussions, and expert-led workshops, attendees will gain the tools needed to transform the way they understand and approach patient safety and quality improvement.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for critical care staff, residents, fellows, and allied health staff that work in the critical care setting.
