Andrew Calvin, MD, MPH

Andrew D. Calvin, MD, MPH, earned his graduate and medical degrees from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and Medical School, followed by graduate training through the Clinician-Investigator Training Program at Mayo Clinic in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Preventive Cardiology, and Echocardiography. He joined the staff of Mayo Clinic Health System in 2015 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where he practices in the areas of general cardiology, echocardiography, and preventive cardiology. He holds the rank of Associate Professor of Medicine and serves on the Academic Appointment and Promotion Committee, as Associate Dean in the Mayo Clinic School of Continuous Professional Development and Chair of Education for Mayo Clinic Health System. He has been recognized with numerous awards for his educational innovation, including the American College of Physician Wisconsin Chapter’s Community-Based Physician and Mentor Award, MCHS-NWWI Innovator of the Year Award and the William "Bill" Maierhofer, M.D., Distinguished Educator Award.
