DESCRIPTION
Round-table multidisciplinary discussion for complex breast cancer cases used to assess the pathological diagnosis, review diagnostic tests used in the initial evaluation and discuss next steps in treatment. Team discussions allow for details on follow-up testing, further consultations needed, as well possible clinical trial utilization. Treatment options for subsequent medical and surgical management are reviewed. Patients may be presented for adjustments in care in situations where disease.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended primarily for M.D., nurses, N.P., P.A.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, presenters should be able to:
- Identify new cutting-edge science, clinical, prognostic, biologic, radiologic, and treatment information.
- Examine how to treat patients with a more well-rounded treatment plan.
- Apply the appropriate guidelines into the care of patients.
Each session may also provide it's own specific learning objectives.
