Various topics that fit departmental needs.
The Pain Rehabilitation Center Seminar Series (PRCSS) is a virtual seminar series focused on discussion of up-to-date topics related to the treatment of individuals with chronic pain and associated symptoms. The seminar series will feature topics presented by interdisciplinary speakers with relevance to patient care, research, and education/training related to chronic pain.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The target audience is Interprofessional consisting of allied health professionals, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, physicians, psychologists, resident fellows, scientist researcher PhD, social workers, and students.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify up-to-date research on chronic pain that has implications for patient care, research, or trainee education.
- Identify practical strategies for how to translate the science of chronic pain to changes in approaches relevant to patient care, research, or trainee education.
