DESCRIPTION
In the quarterly hour-long meetings, ALL members of the Radiation Oncology Department will have an opportunity to: (1) review important issues affecting the quality and safety of our practice, (2) identify areas for improvement, (3) present clinical and process improvement outcomes addressing systematic issues, (4) establish best practices, (5) learn from each other’s expertise to improve patient care, and (6) cultivate safety culture and collaboration.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The target audience is multidisciplinary consisting of physicians, psychologists, psychiatry and psychology trainees, advanced practice providers, mid-level health care providers, psychiatric nursing staff, social workers, and allied health providers.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Review important issues affecting the quality and safety of our practice.
- Establish best practices.
- Develop safety culture and collaboration.
- Identify areas for improvement.
