GIM Grand Rounds is intended to provide an efficient, effective, and contemporary approach to the physicians in the Division of General Internal Medicine. The medical landscape is ever evolving with new research, diagnostic techniques, treatment modalities and guidelines emerging constantly. Staying abreast of these developments is vital to ensure that we are offering our patient the most current and evidence-based care available. The GIM Grand Rounds is a 50-minute dedicated learning activity.

- Describe key updates in clinical patient assessment, complex medical care diagnosis and therapeutic options.
- Identify key updates in guidelines of Internal Medicine care including preventive medicine, women’s health, perioperative care, consultative medicine, and hospital medicine.
- Review clinical pearls and high yield medical knowledge that are often the subject of testing in ongoing clinical certification examinations and board review.
