Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize that part of the burden of Parkinson’s disease is due to non-motor symptoms.
  • Associate the basal ganglia with not only motor function, but with sensory and other non-motor functions.
  • Differentiate different sites of subthalamic nucleus deep brain stimulation for their effect on different brain networks.
