Learning objectives:
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate the concepts of prodromal and manifest neurodegenerative disorders, especially the model of isolated REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD) as representing an early form of Lewy body disease in most older adults.
- Consider provider practices and perspectives concerning prognostic counseling in REM sleep behavior disorder.
- Adopt pragmatic counseling approaches for patients with isolated RBD.
