Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the clinical presentation, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of plasmacytomas
  • Discuss the laboratory testing modalities, interpretation, and advantages/limitations of diagnostic testing for plasmacytomas and other plasma cell proliferative disorders
  • Discuss upcoming novel laboratory testing modalities for plasma cell proliferative disorders including mass spectrometry
