TITLE:  Myalgic Encephalomyelitis in the ED: Why It Matters and What To Do
 
LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize potential myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) in patients presenting to the ED.
  • Identify and address acute complications of ME/CFS. 
  • Apply strategies to mitigate symptom burden in ME/CFS ED patients.
