Mayo Clinic Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesia (MOCA) Simulation 2024 Course - Phoenix, Arizona - March 7, 2025
Andrew Murray, M.D. and Christopher A. Thunberg, M.D.
This is a one-day, simulation-based course that fulfills the simulation requirements for Part IV of MOCA. It consists of a series of mockup scenarios followed by debriefing periods with a variety of anesthetic challenges. The day is filled with fellow anesthesiologists and cases that any board-certified anesthesiologist ought to be striving to manage. Cases consist of team management skills, as well as skills managing hemodynamic and respiratory instability. This course provides experiential learning with opportunities to observe a case and then analyze the case and its management. Each participant is the prime manager of at least one scenario and the backup in other scenarios.
Target Audience
This course is designed for anesthesiologists.
