Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Identify the two major amyloid types that cause cardiac amyloidosis.
- Describe findings on echocardiography and other testing associated with cardiac amyloidosis
- Identify the associated risk factors in critical management of patients with cardiac amyloidosis
- Evaluate available data in reference to anesthetic management, surgical candidacy, and use of mechanical support.
