Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:  

  • Define Perioperative Neurocognitive Disorders (PND)   

  • Describe risk factors and perioperative mitigation strategies for PND  

  • Examine the effect of various anesthetics on the EEG monitors and PSI value/BIS value  

  • Propose a stepwise approach to utilization of processed EEG monitors to optimize anesthetic depth   

  • Evaluate critically MCF case examples
