Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize the significant physical, cognitive and judgement impairment that accompanies fatigue.
  • Describe the personal risk that accompanies sleep deprivation.
  • Validate that fatigue awareness is mandatory in all clinical care and hospital settings.
  • Distinguish the responsibilities of the supervising physician and trainee in mitigating fatigue in clinical care teams.
