DESCRIPTION
Dermatology Hospital Grand Rounds is a weekly conference to educate and train healthcare professionals on the pitfalls and challenges encountered in the management of complicated dermatological patients including topics on erythroderma, severe drug rashes, deep ulcers, blistering disorders, and cutaneous findings associated with systemic diseases in hospitalized patients.

TARGET AUDIENCE
The Dermatology Hospital Conference attendees will include Dermatology staff, PAs and residents.  The target audience is the consulting staff and PAs.  All attendees should have a basic knowledge of the specialty of dermatology and skin manifestations of systemic diseases, dermatopathology as well as pharmacology and therapeutics. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify how to effectively diagnose a variety of dermatologic conditions encountered in hospitalized patients.
  • Review how to initiate an initial workup of a variety of dermatologic conditions encountered in hospitalized patients.
  • Review how to treat and manage a variety of dermatologic conditions encountered in hospitalized patients.
