TITLE:  Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Emergencies
 
LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recall the history and of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).
  • Name the emergent indications for HBOT and associated physiology.
  • Demonstrate an ability to identify patients who may benefit for emergent HBOT.
  • Recognize the logistical and physical limitations to emergent HBOT at Mayo Clinic.
  • Demonstrate an ability to select appropriate candidates for emergent HBOT.
