TITLE: Navigating Pelvic Pain in the ED: Difficult to Make Diagnoses in Patients with Female Pelvic Anatomy
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify the biases that exist in women's health.
- Review complexity of the female pelvic anatomy.
- Recognize patients with female anatomy do not all identify as a woman.
- Review diagnosis and treatment of two diagnoses that often present with non-specific symptoms in patients with female anatomy.
- Review the trauma-informed pelvic exam.
