This course is geared towards expanding the learner’s knowledge of the evidence behind various Integrative Medicine modalities and their implementation in clinical practice. Learners will hear the latest evidence on diverse content from leaders in Integrative Medicine and have the ability to network with fellow clinicians that share the passion for the field and whole-person care.
Target Audience
Physicians, NPPAs, Nurses, Residents/Fellows, and Allied Health Staff in the fields of Integrative Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pain Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Hematology/Oncology
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Review the foundational domains of Integrative Medicine in clinical care
- Review existing scientific evidence regarding safe and practical application of Integrative Medicine therapies for pain
- Review existing scientific evidence regarding safe and practical application of Integrative Medicine therapies for longevity
- Review strategies for communicating challenges related to the use of integrative medicine modalities to patients and families
