DESCRIPTION
Quarterly education grand round for continuous professional development.  The sessions will focus on educational topics for development of Mayo Clinic staff, activities, faculty, course directors who are thinking about, planning or improving an activity.  How can we do things better?  What is new or upcoming?  Are there changes in accreditation everyone needs to know about?

TARGET AUDIENCE
Staff involved in the planning of continuous professional development activities.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Cite guidelines for continuous professional development education. (Domain 5, Task: 0501 & 0503)
  • Describe how to ensure compliance with learning regulations. (Domain 5, Task: 0502)
  • Explain where to go for resources when developing effective education. (Domain 5, Task: 0504)
  • Engage in the development of inter-professional medical education. (Domain 5, Task: 0501)
