DESCRIPTION
The monthly clinical council conference will be led by one of the following neuroradiology clinical councils: Pediatrics, Spine, Vascular, Brain/Neuro-Onc, Head & Neck, Ed/Hospital, Seizure, ADEM (Autoimmune, dementia, epilepsy and MS/demyelinating). The types of presentations will focus on protocol advances, current and upcoming research endeavors that impact practice, clinical aspects of these diseases, and recent developments from national meetings or other institutions.
In-Person, 4th Thursday of every month 12:00-1:00 p.m.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for physicians.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Analyze recent advancements in MRI techniques, including high-resolution imaging, diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI), and functional MRI (fMRI).
- Review novel imaging modalities for seizure localization.
- Identify the role of advanced MRI sequences in identifying subtle structural abnormalities associated with epileptic foci.
