Nursing Grand Rounds: Human Trafficking: The "Other" Global Pandemic

Human trafficking is a prevalent issue in the United States. This livestream course will define the different types of human trafficking, review clinical indicators to identify victims, and provide strategies and resources to treat and support victims.

Target Audience

This CNE course is designed for RNs, LPNs, social workers, and healthcare professionals in all practice settings.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Define human trafficking
  • Describe the nurse’s role and working with the multidisciplinary team
  • Identify who are the victims and who are the traffickers
  • Outline questions to ask and how to take action
