Bio:
Cayman Martin is a half Sun Devil half Wildcat hybrid, having completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Arizona State University and medical school at The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. In the summer of 2020, she started Family Medicine residency at Banner University Medical Center. You may recall that Arizona was a hotspot for a worldwide pandemic during this time, and she was quickly exposed to the importance of empathetic, finessed goals of care conversations and end of life symptom management. This ultimately led her to pursue further training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine here at Mayo Clinic Arizona. Additionally, she is a Maricopa County Master Gardener Associate, which means she’s planted and inadvertently killed innumerable plants in her quest to garden in the low Sonoran Desert. If you have questions about human or botanical end of life management, please reach out to her at any time.
