Autistic adults are vulnerable to ongoing social and cognitive challenges that affect independence and quality of life. Based on our and others research, we developed a multi-component intervention that conducted within a group setting but has a personalized approach. This presentation will summarize the research foundations identifying areas of need, development and implementation of the program, and preliminary acceptability and efficacy findings. While this program was specifically developed for autistic adults, the components are likely to be helpful adults with other disorders as well as typically aging adults.
