DESCRIPTION
Pulmonary Grand Rounds are held once a month in the form of a didactic conference with power point presentation given by an expert in the topic of discussion followed by a forum for discussion and questions. Experts may be external to the clinic or from within Mayo clinic. Topics presented include diseases addressed in the Pulmonary, Sleep and Allergy clinics and will include latest developments in research as it pertains to conditions in pulmonary, allergy and sleep medicine as well as latest developments in diagnostics and therapeutics for these conditions. Topics will also include systems and quality discussion pertinent to the practice. Target audience includes providers in the division of allergy, sleep and pulmonary medicine and allied health staff in the division.

This course is intended primarily for physicians, fellows, allied health, NPs, and PAs from the fields of Pulmonary, Allergy, & Sleep Medicine
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Review latest clinical practice guidelines for different diagnoses in the realm of Pulmonary Medicine, Allergy & Sleep Medicine.
- Review the latest in clinical and bench research in the field of Pulmonary, Allergy and Sleep Medicine.
- Integrated into the practice the latest diagnostic modalities for different pulmonary, allergy and sleep conditions.
- Review treatment guidelines and the latest therapeutic approaches for the disease conditions in the fields of pulmonary, allergy and sleep medicine.
