DESCRIPTION
A didactic case presentation and related topical/literature review covering selected topics in clinical sleep medicine, broadcast to all three Mayo campuses in Rochester, Florida, and Arizona, as well as selected sites in the Mayo Clinic Health System, permitting interactive discussion; typically, two cases are presented each month, for a 45 minute duration.

TARGET AUDIENCE
The conference is designed for physicians, fellows in training, residents, mid-level providers including nurses and physician assistants, medical students, and allied staff who are interested in the field of sleep medicine.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify diagnoses in patients presenting with sleep disorders.
  • Review the diagnostic test/images used in sleep medicine.
  • Identify the management options for patients presenting with sleep disorders.
