DESCRIPTION
The Clinical Chemistry Seminar is a recurring meeting covering the latest research and developments in clinical chemistry. The audience is primarily clinical laboratory directors, medical laboratory scientists and students within the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology (DLMP) divisions of Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology (CBI) and Clinical Core Laboratory Services (CCLS). The meeting occurs weekly and discusses topics including clinical test development, biomarker research, new analytical methodologies, and clinical applications of laboratory testing.

Physicians, Resident Fellows, Scientist Researcher PhDs, Students, and Allied Health Professionals
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Integrate new quality and regulatory approaches into their daily clinical laboratory operations.
- Critique new analytical chemistry technologies.
- Assess the utility of new biomarkers for clinical use.
