• Recognize the scenario of a patient experiencing prolonged aPTT in the absence of anticoagulant therapy.
• Investigate the factors contributing to prolonged aPTT while maintaining a normal prothrombin time (PT).
• Explore the potential interference of factor inhibitors in the aPTT assay and its impact on diagnostic accuracy.
